Del Norte High School is a public high school located in the 4S Ranch community of San Diego, California, United States. It is part of the Poway Unified School District. The campus has finished construction, and it covers of land.〔
==History==
Del Norte opened on August 20, 2009. Its principal is Greg Mizel, the former principal of Mesa Verde Middle School.〔 During its first year, Del Norte is expected to have approximately 700 students in order to create a personalized learning experience. Also notable is the absence of juniors and seniors, as the first year will only contain freshmen and sophomores. On May 13, 2014, the Bernardo Fire broke out near the school, leading to the evacuation of 21,000 nearby houses.
